Vape devices have become increasingly popular with people who are trying to quit smoking, as they provide the nicotine that is found in cigarettes without the harmful side effects of smoke inhalation. The issue is that vaping can be complicated for new users, especially if you’re using a vape pen, which has more pieces than e-cigarettes. Step 1:
You first want to make sure that your battery is completely charged before attempting this process because you don’t want it dying halfway through refilling your vape pen. After making sure your device’s batteries are charged, take off the mouthpiece on your tank where you drip juice into it.

Next, you want to remove the atomizer. You can do this by unscrewing it or gently pushing it upwards against a hard surface with your finger. The atomizer is the metal part in your vape pen that screws into the battery.
Step 3:
Unscrew your cartridge from the base of the tank and empty out any juice remaining inside. You can then screw it back into place onto your tank.
Step 4:
Now, take off the drip tip on top of your cartridge by pulling it straight up away from where it attaches to the tank’s bottom piece. Your drip tip is just what you use to draw vapor through your vape pen when taking puffs.
Step 5:
After removing the drip tip, you can now prepare your tank to receive juice. You can do this by dripping 2-3 drops of e-liquid directly onto the cotton inside the atomizer head. The atomizer head is what heats up your vape pen when you draw on it to produce vapor, and the cotton is the wicking material that absorbs e-liquid and transports it inside of the atomizer where it’s heated up.
Step 6:
After placing your drip tip back into place, hold your vape pen upright with the tank facing upwards and then attach your battery to it by screwing in clockwise. You want to make sure when attaching them they are both screwed in tightly so there won’t be any leakage when you go to use them again.
Step 7:
Before you can vape again, take a hit off of your vape pen. You don’t want to do this before attaching the vape pen battery and atomizer because it could cause them both to spill e-liquid due to the suction.
Step 8:
After taking a few hits from your device, you’ll see vapor form inside your tank or on the drip tip depending on what kind of vape pen you have. This means that your cartridge is successfully filled with juice! If for some reason it doesn’t work at first there’s two potential reasons: either you didn’t get enough liquid on the cotton during refilling and need to add more (if so go back to step 5), or when screwing in your battery and atomizer they weren’t both screwed in tightly enough.
Step 9:
After you’ve successfully refill your vape pen, you’ll want to clean it to keep it from leaking and also to prevent bacteria from forming inside of it. The first step is getting rid of any excess juice by either tilting your device to the side or gently tapping it against a hard surface like a table. Next, you can wrap up some paper towel around your drip tip and then wipe down the outside as well as the inside of the tank with an alcohol wipe (like those found at pharmacies). Lastly, let it sit out and air dry for about 15 minutes before putting it back together and using again.
Step 10:
Reattach your drip tip to the bottom of your tank, screw on your atomizer head, and then attach it to your cartridge again by screwing in clockwise. After this is done, you’re all set!
