Vaporesso Target Mini 40w Mod Review – Holy Cow It’s Small!

0

The Vaporesso Target Mini 40w is what they call a “mini mod” – and it’s tiny. I’ve seen reviews of the Target Mini, but only by holding it in my hands do I get a real idea of how small it is.

Size aside, the Target Mini packs a lot of features. Here are the specs:

  • Dimensions: 58*36.5*24mm
  • Wattage Range: 5.0W – 40W
  • Temperature Range: 200°F – 600°F / 100°C – 315°C
  • Resistance Range:
    • 0.15Ω – 5.0Ω (VW)
    • 0.1Ω – 1.0Ω (VT)
  • Voltage Range: 0.0V – 9.0V
  • Internal Lithium 1400mAh Battery
  • Zinc Alloy & Stainless Steel Construction
  • 0.49″ OLED Display
  • Output Modes: VW, TC(Ni, Ti, SS), TCR
  • Mini Design

There’a complete kit with the Guardian tank included, but I didn’t get that as I already have tons of atomizers to use.

Vaporesso Target Mini Pros

I love the build quality, and it feels good in the hand. Lots of features and the temperature control works great. USB charging, built-in battery, portability, all good.

Vaporesso Target Mini Cons

I don’t like the size, to be honest. I think it’s small for the sake of being small. A gimmick tat is not unique to the target mini, just mini-mods in general. I mean, the Eleaf Ipower is small enough for me, and anything smaller feels like a toy.

Also, it only fits atomizers 22m and smaller. The lip in the design prevents you from screwing in larger atomizers. It’s subjective con, since I’m sure your 22mm atomizers outnumber the rest.

Overall, I’m not sold on the idea of a mini-mod. Sure you can use it as a backup device, but I prefer something like the Cfiber 100w – it has more battery power and cost half as much.
